Bala Iyer has served on public company boards since 2001 and currently serves on the board of three public companies, Skyworks Solutions, Power Integrations, and Clarivate Analytics. He previously served on the board of Churchill Capital, “IHS Markit“, QLogic, Life Technologies, Conexant Systems and Overture Services.
As a board member, Bala has overseen more than 100 acquisitions as well as divestitures valued at over $40 billion and has overseen over $10 billion in equity and debt financing and served on several pricing committees. He currently chairs the Audit Committee at Skyworks Solutions and Power Integrations and chairs the Risk Committee at Clarivate Analytics. He has served on several Nominating Committees and has been Chair of the committee at Skyworks Solutions and Life Technologies. He has also served on Compensation Committees.
Bala has had a twenty two year career with technology companies and served as CFO of Conexant Systems and VLSI Technologies. Bala has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
David’s experience includes chairing the Risk, Compliance & Planning Committee and serving as vice chair of the Audit Committee for HAFC. David is also a partner in Sage Partners, LLC and an advisor to a well-known private equity firm. Until his retirement in 2013, he was a senior leader and board member of Deloitte Consulting LLP, a $5+ billion professional services firm.
David is currently the Chair of the NACD Pacific Southwest Chapter board and previously served as chapter president. He is also a member of the board of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. He previously served as a trustee of Wesleyan University and as chairman of the Echo Foundation.
David received a BA in economics from Wesleyan, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from Wharton.
