David’s experience includes chairing the Risk, Compliance & Planning Committee and serving as vice chair of the Audit Committee for HAFC. David is also a partner in Sage Partners, LLC and an advisor to a well-known private equity firm. Until his retirement in 2013, he was a senior leader and board member of Deloitte Consulting LLP, a $5+ billion professional services firm.
David is currently the Chair of the NACD Pacific Southwest Chapter board and previously served as chapter president. He is also a member of the board of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. He previously served as a trustee of Wesleyan University and as chairman of the Echo Foundation.
David received a BA in economics from Wesleyan, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from Wharton.
