Amanda's diverse experience includes providing counsel to a refinery following fire incidents causing substantial property damages and personal injuries, a manufacturing company following allegations of releases that led to shutdown of municipal water supplies, a public company following discovery of alleged misconduct by a chief executive, a prestigious private high school following allegations of teacher misconduct, and a foreign company whose substantial U.S.-based investment was jeopardized following emergence of U.S. security concerns. Amanda's environmental experience includes an array of regulatory and litigation matters, including federal and state contamination investigations and remedial actions, natural resource damages assessments and claims, environment, health and safety compliance counseling, mass toxic tort actions, permitting and planning for large-scale industrial projects, deal diligence, and project impacts mitigation and restoration strategies.
Barbara Baumann is President of Cross Creek Energy Corporation, an energy investor and a strategic consultant to firms with assets in the energy (exploration & production, refining, and logistics) business. From 2000 through 2003 she was Executive Vice President of Associated Energy Managers, LLC, a private equity firm specializing in the energy arena. From 1981 through 1999, Barbara worked for Amoco Corporation and then its successor, BP Corporation, holding various financial and operating positions including CFO of the company’s environmental subsidiary; Vice President of its San Juan Basin business unit (one of Amoco’s six E&P business units in North America); and leader of its Wyoming oil field operations.
Barbara is a director of Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN), Buckeye Partners, LP (NYSE: BPL), and privately held Hat Creek Energy Corporation. She is an independent trustee of the Putnam Mutual Funds and formerly served on the boards of three publicly-traded companies: SM Energy Company, UNS Energy Corporation, and CVR Energy Corporation. Barbara is also active in local non-profits, serving on the Finance Committee of Children’s Hospital Colorado. She is on the board, and chairs the Finance Committee, of the Denver Foundation. Barbara currently chairs the board of trustees of Mount Holyoke College, her alma mater. She also holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Paul is an accomplished information security leader with a track record of integration of operations and information technology. By aligning technology initiatives with corporate strategies, he assists in developing, shaping, and leading major security implementations. Paul plays a key role in integrating the Kryptos Logic technology into client projects and cloud services. His extensive worldwide experience in business development and corporate planning has been key to driving market entry and strategic planning initiatives.
Paul is in charge of the security products and consulting at Tracc Development. Currently working with Kryptos Logic, globally known for finding the “kill-switch” for the WannaCry ransomware, is a high end cyber security firm serving both governments and Fortune 100 customers around the globe. The Insight product is a web-based, B2B product offering is focused on delivering both cutting edge security analysis and standards based reporting. This new product marks a turning point for both Kryptos Logic and the security industry itself.
Before joining Tracc, Paul was Vice President of McGregor & Associates, Inc., where he served as CISO. Where he was responsible for security of over 3 million health care records. He managed numerous security incidents as well as providing a full range of strategy, operations, change management, and information technology solutions to the Healthcare industry. His background also includes consulting on project budgets of up to $50 million to clients such as Cisco Systems, Inc.; Panasonic; the U.S. Navy; and PeopleSoft. As Director of International Business Development at WorldCom, Paul managed the start-up of international joint ventures, where he managed budgets ranging from $5 to $440 million.

Melinda Yee Franklin is a thought leader and legislative strategist with a sustained track record of successfully enhancing corporate reputation to generate sales revenue and drive business development. She has cultivated a global network of high level corporate, government and civic leaders which enables her to execute on business initiatives. She has developed strong expertise in crisis management, public policy, and international affairs.
She currently serves as the Managing Director of Corporate and Government Affairs in the Western Region for United Airlines. Based in San Francisco, she is responsible for legislative, policy, corporate, and community affairs in California, Hawaii, Alaska, Oregon, Arizona, Washington State, Utah, Idaho, and Nevada.
She is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of the San Francisco Travel Association, the city’s official tourism marketing agency and convention and visitors bureau,
She was previously the Managing Director of the Siena Group, an international business and public affairs consulting firm.
She has also worked extensively in the local and federal public sectors as a senior adviser to former Mayor of San Francisco Willie L. Brown, Jr., and to the late U.S. Secretary of Commerce Ronald H. Brown. President William J. Clinton appointed her to serve in the White House during his first term.
In addition to SF Travel, she currently sits on the boards of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation, San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco Shanghai Sister City Committee, and the San Francisco Opera.
